The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) announced in May 2013 changes to frequency ranges used for wireless microphones. It is now illegal to use wireless microphones that transmit at certain frequencies.
The ACMA media release (available here) advised that after 31 December 2014 it would be illegal for wireless audio transmitters, including wireless microphones operating in the frequency range 694-820 MHZ.
Clients currently using radio microphones should be aware of future changes to frequencies. If your business is affected by the radio frequency upgrades that commenced in 2015, please email us for further information and assistance in selecting appropriate options.
